Steel Tempest is an RPG set in space where players create mercenary pilots using specialized war machines called "frames". The game focuses on conflict between factions vying to access the mysterious artifacts of unknown origin known as Anomalies that violate physics laws; it also features a randomized setting and elements such as secondary objectives, locations for battles within 36 different areas (plus 10 contacts), situations involving diverse events ranging from random encounters with bystanders or aliens seeking peace. The game comes in two versions: one is set on Earth while the other takes place entirely onboard ships traveling through space towards new adventures aboard alien vessels; both offer plenty of room to work, but are also easy enough for young players without extensive previous experience playing RPGs such as Dungeons & Dragons (D&D).
