Once a hunter has taken all of their improvements that aren’t “Create a second hunter,” “Change this hunter to a new type,” “retire this hunter,” or anything similar, they may start taking Veteran Improvements. This reflects that they are a cut above even the most capable monster hunters, but they haven’t quite finished telling their story yet. This should be a pretty rare path considering most hunters can change playbooks pretty easily... but Buffy is always going to be the Chosen amirite?
