Your character serves a being so powerful that they are foundational to reality itself.  This is not to say that they are well-treated or haven't had to do demeaning tasks. Today is their day-off.  This is when they gather with their peers to tell tales of the incomprehensible exploits that they have lived or seen.   The major trick to this game played by eternal servitors is that one character starts the story and passes it along to another to finish.
