Glimmers in the Dark is a rules-lite narrative game designed to emulate the feeling of playing an old school dungeon crawler, while stripping out all the boring parts. Five generalized skills create a flexible framework for doing anything you can imagine. Abstracted resources make bookkeeping dead simple. Fully randomized character generation gets you playing after a single roll of 3d6. Simple procedures for finding randomized treasure, overland travel, and resting hone the game into a razor sharp system for tense exploration and old fashioned treasure hunting, with a focus on dramatic narratives over simulationism.Just don't run out of resources!
