Before you begin, consider the aspects of tabletop role-playing games that you enjoy. Explain these things proudly to the people around you at the table. (Don’t worry, they’re nerds too.) If you’re not convinced that the people around you share your idea of fun, don’t force it. The best of games can be utterly ruined by the wrong people, on the other hand, a mediocre game can be a total riot with fantastic folk. If this system, in your hands, falls into the second category, then it can be considered a success.
