Initially inspired by the Saw franchise and an incredible game of Dread run by my friend @dndimposter, Deathtrap combines dwindling odds mechanisms with clocks-based objectives and variable success concepts found in PbtA and FitD games. The result is a rules-lite, narrative-first system for running single-session survival horror games in which players must sacrifice their own flesh and blood in order to make it out alive.
