In Dream Anew, players take on various roles in a utopian city threatened with destruction from an unknown source during World War III, but ultimately saved through their collective effort at creating art supplies to feed the starving population as well as other necessities such as medicine and technology for all. The game is set up using "No Dice No Masters" engine which limits player interaction without dice rolls while still allowing them full agency in making decisions within character roles assigned by system components or story arcs during gameplay sessions, with a duration of 3-6 hours per session lasting between three to four playtimes and utilizing tokens for GMless game.
