Before The Beginning is a post-apocalyptic survival simulation where players take on roles of scavengers building their own city while grappling moral dilemmas like dealing with witches or religious cults, dangerous creatures such as cyborgs, mutants who are trying to build homes in the ruins. They will face various challenges and dangers but can rest once they have built a safe shelter for themselves before moving out into new surroundings called New World Colony 2: "The City".
