In FatHOM, players take on the role of a landlord trying to evict tenants from their apartments in an unconventional and mysterious city called "The City." The game is played as a surreal investigation-solving activity with hidden clues that will lead you through different areas such as "Underworld," where people can be found. It's up to your character, accompanied by a narrator who offers tips on the history of each place they explore in order for players better understand their surroundings while uncovering mysterious objects and solving riddles along the way before finally being able to enter into contact with other tenants seeking help from FatHOM's helpful but unpredictable landlord.
